The days of fat and unrealistic fees/salaries for foreign players in China may be over because the Chinese FA is beginning to cut all those unnecessary expenses as the clubs are losing more money that they are making as a result of paying more than they earn to players, particularly foreign players.
The Chinese FA has unveiled financial regulations for Chinese clubs to achieve the finance management goals.
The FA revealed a series of new policies to curb the clubs’ growing expenditures. Salary caps, clubs expense limitations, and winning-match-bonus ceilings, all of which are aimed at helping clubs shrug off finance difficulties, will take effect next season.
