The National Bureau Statistic has reported that at least 20.9 Million of the estimated 115.5 Million of Working Age Nigerians are currently underemployed or unemployed by the third Quarter of 2018.
This is an increased figure from the 17.6 Million of Nigerians of working age who were not in gainful employment as at the third quarter of 2017.
Of the total sum, 8.77 Million of them are first-time job seekers, 0.93 Million lost their source of Employment and 11.1 are underemployed.
