A coalition of Civil Society Groups has said that the 2019 election is an opportunity to rewrite Nigeria’s history as a leading member in the comity of nations.
Speaking at a colloquium need for a rancor-free poll, the rights activists insisted that national interest should be placed above secretarial or individual ambition as preparations for the general elections continuous.
They also appealed to security agencies to avoid what they described as the temptation of partisanship to override their sense of professionalism.
The forum was part of the United Nations activities to sensitize voters ahead of Nigeria general election.
