The Department for International Development, DFID of the United Kingdom is to support initiatives against vote buying even after the 2019 elections.
Speakers at a national forum against vote buying and other electoral malpractices agreed that the sensitization must be sustained especially at the grassroots level.
Acting Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, Musa Abubakar, in a message said the agency is fully prepared to monitor the 2019 general elections.
The DFID supported programme is being done in Akwa-Ibom, Kano, Lagos, Rivers States, and the FCT.
