President Uhuru Kenyatta confirms plans to improve the civil aviation structure in Kenya as it plays a vital role in economic development which contributes an estimated 0.4 % of Kenya’s GDP.

He mentioned this today at the 11th forum of the International Civil Aviation Organization Air Services Negotiation at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi.

According to the President, a whopping 80 per cent of visitors engage in airline services, and it is the most viable means of transporting Perishable goods globally and thus has immense potential to boost the Kenyan Economy profoundly.
