Nigeria’s Super Falcons, the reigning African Women’s Cup of Nations winners dropped one place, from 38th to 39th, in the latest FIFA Women’s World Ranking (WWR).
Super Falcons who clinched the title for a record ninth time in Ghana amassed 19 points from the last ranking to date despite winning four out of the five games at the tournament.

The Thomas Dernnerby’s World Cup-bound side made a total 1,607 points and are ranked the topmost team in Africa.
In the world ranking, the USA remain number one and they are followed closely by Germany, France, England, and Canada in the top five.
