The Akwa Ibom state governor, Udom Emmanuel, has reassured that his government will complete the Ibom Deep seaport project before the May 29 terminal date of his administration.
He said the emergence of the global operator, Bolloré-PowerChina Consortium, as the preferred bidder for the project located in the Mbo Local Government Area of the state, come with a great prospect.
The governor added that the next stage would involve negotiation with the preferred bidder which would be conducted in compliance with all extant rules.
