Manchester City’s manager, Pep Guardiola has avoided a charge from the FA following comments he made about referee Anthony Taylor in his pre-match conference for the Manchester derby.
Guardiola had responded to a question regards the referee, saying he hoped the ref would make “good decisions for both sides”.
It is against the FA’s rule for players and coaches to discuss officials before a match.
Having explained his comments to the FA, the body has opted not to charge Guardiola.
