Sir Mo Farah will compete at the London Marathon 2019 as he looks to win the London Marathon for the first time.
Farah finished third in this year’s London Marathon and won his first major marathon title in Chicago in a European record time of 2 hours 5 minutes and 11 seconds.
The 35-year old who retired from track over a year ago had previously disclosed his intention to run the marathon at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 and will use the London Marathon as a tune-up event among others to the Olympic marathon in 2020.
