AC Milan’s director, Paolo Scaroni and the Elliot Fund will travel to Nyon on Tuesday to listen to a disciplinary hearing for breaching Financial Fair Play rules last season.
Milan had a European ban from UEFA overturned on appeal this summer, with the club’s financial situation more secure now with the Elliot Fund in charge.
Milan faces two possible sanctions – the first being a fine in the region of £17m, an amount the club will have to balance out in their current budget on their own; the second could be a transfer ban.
It may not be a complete transfer ban but it could be a cap on Milan’s spending, that would only apply to the Winter transfer.
