The Women basketball teams of MFM, Customs, First Bank and Dolphins have all qualified for the semi-finals of the Zenith Bank Women’s Basketball League.
The newly formed MFM team became the first club to qualify for the semi-finals after a 56-49 victory over the experienced Nigeria Customs.
They will be looking to cross the hurdle which Dolphins, who were 2015 league champions present.
Customs will battle First bank who remain unbeaten so far.
The winners from the two semi-final ties would play each other in the finals which hold tomorrow, Wednesday. While Plateau Rocks and Kaduna Angels will duel in a classification game also set for Wednesday.
The two finalists will represent Nigeria at the 2018 FIBA African Women Club Championship.
