Rangers have lost a legal fight at the High Court with Sports Direct over a merchandise deal.
The judge ruled that Rangers had breached the terms of an agreement made with a company in the Sports Direct group.
Rangers had made a deal in June 2017 with Sports Direct relating to sales of replica kits, the Ibrox club then entered a new agreement with Elite Group in September 2018, without giving Sports Direct a chance to match the offer.
Justice Teare said Rangers will pick up all lawyers’ bills run up during the latest round of litigation which the lawyers disclosed as £248,000 for Sports Direct and Rangers about £147,000.
The judge ruled that legal bills will be assessed in detail before Rangers pay in full.
