Sterling scores a brace as England hurt Spain in Nations League Match

England needed to make a statement in Seville against their Spanish opposition and they did it in a historic and dramatic fashion as they secured a stunning 3-2 victory over Spain in the Nations League on Monday night.

It was the first time England will defeat Spain since 1987 and also inflicting Spain’s first home loss in competitive action for 15years.

Gareth Southgate was asked what he wanted to see from his England players against Spain during his pre-match conference and he said that his lads were brave enough to play.

Raheem Sterling got a brace and Rashford got one for himself, Spain got two goals through a fight back as Francisco Alcacer and Sergio Ramos found the back of the net.
