Fulham and Jacksonville Jaguars billionaire owner, Shahid Khan has written a letter to FA Council members ahead of the October 24th vote on the proposed Wembley sale.
In the letter, the Pakistani-American billionaire stated categorically that under his ownership, Wembley will be the National Stadium of England, the traditional home of English football and one of the world’s finest venues for sport and entertainment.
He also outlined his plans for a new and improved Wembley, which will include a committee of Council members serving as advisors on all FA related stadium matters, making the stadium meet the global standard in terms of technology, hospitality, experience and athlete expectation and more.
He also stated his intention to protect everything wonderful and respectful about Wembley Stadium.
