30 people have been arrested for allegedly playing an active role in the recent violent crisis in Jos, Plateau state, in northern Nigeria.
Operation Save Haven Commander, Major General Augustine Agundu, while parading the suspects in Jos, said the culprits have confessed to the crimes.
The General said some of the suspects were cultists and miscreants found with deadly weapons.
A total of 72 persons were earlier arrested in all the areas they conducted operations during the civil unrest that erupted last friday morning.
