Paul Gascoigne set for Scottish Football Hall of Fame

Organisers have announced that Paul Gascoigne will be inducted later this month, into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame.

Gascoigne joined Rangers in 1995 from Lazio and won both Scottish Player of the Year awards in his first season.

Gazza joins the likes of Brian Laudrup and Henrik Larsson as former players of Rangers to be inducted in the Hall of Fame.

Scotland’s top women goalscorer, Julie Fleeting MBE is also a new entrant into the Hall of Fame.

The new entrants will be inducted at a Glasgow dinner on the 21st of October.

Following nominations from the public, inductees of the Scottish Football Hall of Fame are chosen by a panel from the football and media worlds.
