A 35-17 victory over Argentina in Buenos Aires, gave New Zealand an unsurpassable seven-point lead over South Africa, thereby clinching their sixth Rugby Championship title with a game to spare.
South Africa were the closest challengers to the All Blacks but failed to get a bonus point in their 23-12 triumph of the Australians.
New Zealand went into the game, needing to win to secure the title and despite missing several regulars in Buenos Aires, the All Blacks outscored Argentina by five tries to two to collect a bonus point as well.
