The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has commended the Federal Government for deciding to ensure that all pensions and gratuities of retired (dead or living), and dead workers are paid.
The association’s National spokesperson, Mr. Bestman Okereafor, on the 58th Independence day also wished Nigerians, particularly Nigerian students a happy celebration.
Bestman Okereafor however, complained about the under-funding of most Nigerian schools, which over the years had incapacitated the academic talents of Nigerian students, specifically in the area of research.
The leadership of NANS used the opportunity to commiserate with Federal Government, the families, and friends of all personnel involved in the Nigeria Air-force plane crash during the practice run for the Independence Day Air show.
