Nigeria’s D’Tigress defeated Greece in their quarterfinal game in the FIBA Basketball World Cup going on in Spain.
At the end of the fourth quarter, D’Tigress won by a point difference 57 – 56 points.
D’Tigress representing Nigeria become the first ever African team to win three games in a single FIBA Basketball World Cup.
With their victory, they move into the semi-finals where they will take on the United States of America.
