Dan Ashworth has been appointed as the new technical director of Brighton & Hove Albion, thereby bringing an end to his six-year spell with the FA as its Technical Director.
Ashworth will continue to work with the FA until the new year and will take up the role at Brighton & Hove Albion in the spring.
His new role with Brighton & Hove Albion will have him oversee the player recruitment department, the academy and medical department at all levels of the club.
England won the U-19 Euros, U-17 and U-20 World Cups as well as reaching the semi-final of the World Cup in Russia during Dan Ashworth’s time with the FA.
The FA has stated that a replacement for Dan Ashworth will begin immediately.
