The Newspapers Proprietors Association of Nigeria (NPAN) has pledged their allegiance to the FG to foster patriotism, committing themselves to national development in the discharge of their duties.
This was brokered at a meeting held in Lagos between the minister for information and culture and the stakeholders of the Association.
The NPAN members assured the government that they would not constitute an opposition to hinder the government from discharging their duties.
They noted that frequent and adequate dialogue will fritter out all frictions between the media institutions and the government.
