France and Spurs goalkeeper cum captain, Hugo Lloris has pleaded guilty to one count of drink-driving. The 31 years old shot stopper admitted to being drunk twice the legal limit while driving his 2018 Porsche Panamera at the early hours of August 24th.

He was arrested when policemen spotted him driving at 15mph in a 30mph zone while struggling to keep his car at a steady direction, as he veered towards parked vehicles.

At the hearing which took place at the Westminster Magistrates’ Court, the court heard of the sample provided by Lloris during the roadside testing, which contained 80 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 milliliters of breath. That is twice the legal limit in England, which is stipulated at 35 microgrammes.

He was fined £50,000 and banned from driving for a year and eight months (20 months).
