After a stakeholders meeting, it has been endorsed to relocate the computer village in Ikeja to Katangowa area of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA by the computer village community.
The stakeholders, comprising of officials of trade associations, heads of plazas and representatives of the various ethnic groups, finally came to a conclusion of this long-standing issue which had been endorsed by the Lagos state government.
The Katangowa project would be the biggest ICT Park in West Africa, boasting of offering over 4,000 shops, accelerators, incubators, technology laboratories, shopping plaza, exhibition halls, hotel, industrial park, warehouses, Kee Klamps (small shopping shades), a helipad, banking halls, malls, food courts, parking lots, conference centre, food courts, security and power.
This plan aims to remove the chaos and traffic currently affecting the section in Ikeja.
