LA Galaxy manager, Sigi Schmid, has left the club with just six games remaining to play in the regular season; they are currently three points off for the playoffs.
The team will now be under Assistant coach, Dominic Kinnear, for the rest of the season as they look to rediscover their form and challenge for a place in the playoffs.
The LA Galaxy boss said in a statement that he understands that the timing is unfortunate but he believes that Dominic Kinnear can guide the team to a playoff spot.
Even with the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, LA Galaxy has been struggling for form in recent weeks, and the last time they won a game was on the 31st of July.
