Farahad Moshiri increases stake at Everton

Iranian businessman, Farhad Moshiri, who acquired a 49.9% stake of Everton in 2016 after selling his stake at Arsenal, has increased his shares by 18.7% through Blue Heaven Holdings Ltd. to make it 68.6% shares of Everton he controls.
He is expected to increase his shares to 77.2% by July 2019.
Everton announced the development via its official website, which read: “Everton Football Club today announces that major shareholder Farhad Moshiri has further committed to and increased his shareholding in the club…”.
The Iranian has shown that he is ready to make the club competitive in the transfer market, having splashed £30m and £40m on Jordan Pickford and Richardson respectively.
The Tofees will be hoping that his financial might will bring about European competitions and trophies.
Forbes estimates Farhad Moshiri personal wealth to be $1.7 Billion.
