England’s midfielder, Dele Alli has pulled out of England’s friendly match against Switzerland set to hold tomorrow, due to a minor muscle strain.
The 22 years old midfielder played the entire duration of England’s controversial 2-1 loss to Spain in their UEFA Nations League opener on Saturday and felt some discomfort after the match, which medical assessments revealed as a muscle strain.
Alli will not link up with his England teammates at the King Power Stadium as he has left the camp.
He will be treated by his club, Tottenham Hotspur, who will be hoping to have their talisman back as quickly as possible, having dropped their first points of the season prior to the international break.
