Former Chelsea and Aston Villa captain, John Terry is on the verge of joining Russian club, Spartak Moscow on a year deal worth an alleged £1.8m, with options to extend for another year. Reports from Rome in Italy have it that the 37 years old underwent a medical this morning with the Russian club in Rome.
John Terry who is a free agent is set to replace at Spartak Moscow, French defender, Samuel Gigot who has been ruled out of the season following a serious injury.
His vast experience of the game at the very top will be crucial for the club who are currently second in the Russian Premier League and still have the Europa League to prosecute.
