Donald Trump’s criticism of Nike’s decision to use Colin Kaepernick as the face of its new commercial has not deterred the sportswear giant from continuing with its campaign.
The trending Nike ad featuring Colin Kaepernick for the thirtieth anniversary of “Just Do It” is scheduled to run during the NFL’s regular-season opener which will feature the Atlanta Falcons against the Philadelphia Eagles on NBC on Thursday night.
The commercial, voiced by Kaepernick, also features stars like LeBron James, Serena Williams, Odell Beckham Jr., Lacey Baker, Shaquem Griffin, Zeina Nassar, Isaiah Bird and Eliud Kipchoge.
A Nike spokesman has also confirmed that the commercial will air during tennis, college football and Major League Baseball coverage this week.
