Europe’s captain, Thomas Bjorn, has gone for experienced players over the rookies who are in form for the Ryder Cup.
One controversial selection is that of Sergio Garcia, who has been in a horrible form all year, missing the cut in eight of his last eleven tournaments while Ryder Cup veterans such as Paul Casey, Ian Poulter, and Henrik Stenson also made the cut.
Europe will be seeking to reclaim the Ryder Cup which it lost feebly to the US 17-11 at Hazeltine in 2016.
