President Muhammadu Buhari beckoned on the Chinese government to help facilitate the completion of the Mambilla power project in Taraba state, North East, Nigeria
Buhari made the appeal in Beijing, China on Wednesday while signing the bilateral agreement with President Xi Jinping on the sideline of the 74th Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC)
Buhari, during the ceremony, commended the Chinese government for its support for the development of infrastructure in Nigeria.
With the reviewed bilateral cooperation between Nigeria and China, he said that majority of citizens from both countries stand to benefit in terms of the improvement in their living conditions.
He shared that last two years’ China has supported Nigeria in the training of security personnel, agricultural modernization and provision of concessional loans which have impacted on the economy.
