Earlier this week, in a tweet, Rachael Bland who had been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016, revealed she had just a few days to live after her cancer became incurable.
Sadly, the BBC presenter passed on at the age of 40, and according to her family who announced her death in the early hours of this morning September 05 2018, she died peacefully.
According to her husband who broke the news on her Social Media Page, she was surrounded by close family members when she passed away.
Before her demise, she was writing a memoir to her son, leaving him with memories, her words and snippets of advice.
The late Rachael Bland was the brainchild of an inspirational podcast You, Me And the Big C co-hosted with her best friends; Deborah James and Lauren Mahon, who have also been diagnosed with cancer.
