There was a heated argument at the Nigerian national assembly as lawmakers expected to approve the budget for Nigeria’s 2019 general elections expressed displeasure over clarity.
The federal government is requesting a transfer of funds from budgeted N578billion earmarked for capital projects to fund INEC’s N189 billion election budget proposal.
This however, is not going down well with some lawmakers, part of a joint national assembly committee expected to scrutinize the budget
