The Resident Electoral Commissioner, in Osun State REC, Olusegun Agbaje has praised political parties for holding violence-free primaries, in the state.

According to the REC, the primaries witnessed a level of maturity by parties despite some complaints by aggrieved party members.

Ahead of the September governorship election, the REC announced that of the fifteen thousand ad-hoc staff needed for the election, over thirteen thousand of them are ready with eight thousand from the NYSC.

He said accreditation and voting will hold simultaneously to encourage mass participation of the electorate and a violence-free election.
