Facebook is currently developing a device which will provide high-speed internet services from space.
The satellite which will be orbiting the earth is to solve internet connectivity issues especially to unserved and low connectivity areas around the globe.
The company made this announcement after shutting down its high flying drone project -Aquila.
Facebook which is still developing the hardware which the service will thrive on, has publicly shared that details of the project will be kept classified for now.
Considering how over half of the globe is yet to be connected to the internet, it is a worthy cause of action for the technology firm.
