Ethiopia has appointed its first ambassador, Redwan Hussein to Eritrea in two decades.
Local media reports that it is another stage in the rapidly improving relations between the two neighbours after border war fights.
On Wednesday, commercial flights between the two nations resumed after both country leaders signed a declaration ending the state of war.
