Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom has exited the All Progressives Congress (APC). The governor made this pronouncement on Monday at the Government House in Makurdi while swearing in his Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Jerome Torshimbe.
Explaining the reasons behind his action, the governor said he has been sent out of APC and is currently exploring a new option to actualise his future ambition.
The governor has not announced the party he will be joining, saying only that he is consulting with relevant stakeholders and will soon announce his next move.
