Sharara oil output may drop due to staff abduction

Sharara Oil field output is expected to drop by over one hundred and sixty thousand barrels per day after the abduction of its staff in an attack by unknown persons.
This information was revealed by the National Oil Corporation.
According to NOC, four of the station’s staff were initially kidnapped but two of them have been released. Oil wells in the area have been shut down and all workers have been evacuated as a precaution measure.
The assailants entered the station by four thirty GMT on Saturday as revealed by NOC.
