NEMA receives 160 Nigerians from Libya

A batch of 160 assisted voluntary returnees from Libya have been received by the National Emergency Management Agency-NEMA.

Planning Officer of NEMA, Mr Segun Afolayan told journalists they were received at about 9:45 pm on Thursday night at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja.

Afolayan said that the returnees were brought back through the assistance of the International Organisation for Migration.

The returnees were advised to put their experiences in the volatile North African country behind them and forge ahead with their lives.

A batch of one hundred and fifty-five had earlier been received on the 5th of July 2018.
