A list of 200 corrupt individuals who own property purchased with illegally-acquired funds is to be published by the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration.
His Special Assistant on Prosecution, Okoi Obono-Obla made this known during the launch of a software application for the tracking of illicit properties by a Civil Society Organisation, the African Network for Environment and Economic Justice.
According to Obono-Obla, the launch of the new online platform called ‘Properti Tracka’ is the single most important contributions towards the fight against corruption as it will expose those who take what belongs to Nigerians.
Obla, who is also the chairman of the Special Investigation Panel on the Recovery of Public Property, said the list of illegally acquired properties are located in highbrow areas like Maitama in Abuja, are linked to serving and past public office holders.
