The Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, Hon. Samuel Nwanosike has dissolved the Community Development Committee Chairmen of 14 communities for allegedly aiding cultism.
The Chairman announced this at the headquarters of the council in Isiokpo. He further advised cultists, kidnappers and all criminals operating in the local government to surrender their arms and ammunition to security agencies.
Deygbam and Deywell areas where most of the sacked Chairmen reside have been reported to harbour gun-wielding criminals.
