The Katsina State governor, Aminu Bello Masari has criticized governors of North-Western states for being absent a security meeting of the zone in Kaduna State.
The governor heads the security committee set up by the Northern Governors’ Forum.
However, in attendance were the Deputy Governors of Jigawa, Kaduna, and Sokoto states as well as secretaries to state governments and security consultants.
Future meetings will include discussions on regional integration and economic cooperation among the seven states in the North West.
