In a surprising revelation during the BET Awards, where Migos won the award for Best Group, Offset thanked his wife, and the whole audience wondered if he shouldn’t have said my wife to be? It turns out Offset and Cardi B had been married since last year. A marriage certificate, proving the union has surfaced online.
According to the marriage certificate, they got married in Furton County, GA on September 20, 2017.
This came as a shock to many as it would be recalled that Offset had publicly proposed to Cardi during their performance in October last year in Philadelphia.
In light of this new development, that was all for show as they were already a married couple for a month by then.
