Former vice president of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has released a schedule detailing his official declaration to run for the 2019 Presidential Election.
In a statement released by the Atiku Presidential Campaign Council, signed by its Director-General, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, states that the declaration exercise will commence with a solidarity mega rally on July 4, 2018, in the former VP’s hometown of Yola, Adamawa State.
The rally would then be followed by a pre-declaration programme on July 19 in Abuja while the main event takes place at Eagles Square, Abuja, on July 28, 2018.
The campaign council called on Nigerians to join in the history-making event.
