Muslims have been urged to sustain prayers for peace in the country as they celebrate the successful completion of Ramadan.
Senate President Bukola Saraki gave the charge in a statement by his special adviser on media and publicity, Yusuph Olaniyonu.
Dr Saraki congratulated Muslim faithful and commended the federal government on its effort at tackling insecurity in the country.
He called on all citizens to use the occasion to promote national integration to reflect the love and goodwill epitomised by the Eid-El-Fitr season.
Saraki further called for tolerance, a stronger sense of patriotism and love for one another, if the nation is to overcome her present socio-economic challenges.
