| According to police reports, at least 16 people were killed in a bus accident in Mainpuri, a town in Uttar Pradesh, Northern India.
Ajay Shanker Rai, a Police officer, said that on Wednesday, the driver of the tourist bus lost control at a sharp bend as he was over speeding making the bus to overturn and hit a concrete road divider; leaving 16 people dead and 17 others injured.
The injured victims are receiving treatment with three of them in critical condition.
The occupants of the bus had visited Jaipur a city known for forts, museums and gardens and were returning to their hometown, Farrukhabad. |
