The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) says it will purchase nomination forms for 500 youths aspiring to various political positions in the country following the Not-Too-Young-To-Run Act.
NYCN’s President, Malam Murtala Garba, announced this while he led a delegation of youths to the APC Convention Secretariat to purchase a form for Sule Yakubu, who is running for the position of APC National Youth Leader North East.
Garba while thanking President Muhammadu Buhari for assenting to the bill, noted that the act will motivate Nigerian youths to aspire for any political party towards the political development of Nigeria.
He also asked youths to kick-start their ambitions from the level of the local government as chairmen, and move onto the State Assembly, governorship and National Assembly.
