Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has condemned threats by the National Assembly to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari, describing it as parliamentary terrorism.
In a statement on behalf of the group, Prof. Ishaq Akintola, who also described the threat as a rape on the democratic principle of the separation of powers, accused the Senate President, Bukola Saraki of being the brain behind this latest attempt.
Akintola asserts that while MURIC refuses to play politics with Saraki’s travails with the Nigerian police, the group will stand up for the truth.
