Enyimba’s captain, Mfon Udoh returned from a long-term injury and made his first appearance in a rescheduled Nigerian Professional Football League game against Lobi stars.
Enyimba won the game by a goal to nil at the U.J Esuene Stadium in Calabar. Enyimba’s goal came from Abdulrahman Bashir in the 51st minute off an assist from Andrew Abalogu.
Lobi stars remain on top of the log with 43 points, Akwa United is second with 38points while Enyimba has only been able to manage a win in its last three matches and moved from ninth to the sixth position with 34 points.
