The Nigeria Immigration Service says its  Katsina State Command has arrested four suspected human traffickers and rescued 38 suspected victims of trafficking.

Immigration boss, Muhammad Babandede, and the Command’s Comptroller, Ajisafe Joshua Olusola, said this today while parading the suspected victims of the trafficking rescued at the Charanchi patrol base of the state.

Olusola said a total of four suspected human traffickers and 38 of their suspected victims have been both intercepted and rescued between February and June 2018.

He further urged the public to provide vital information to combat human trafficking and child labour activities in Katsina.
