The police have said that out of the 1,728 candidates who took the Computer Based Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB)examination in Jigawa state, only 189 were successful. Spokesman of the police state command, SP Abdu Jinjiri, said this in Dutse today. The examination was conducted in six designated centres across the state. He said the successful candidates have since been shortlisted for medical screening, which spanned from May 31 to June 6. According to him, a total of 4,705 applications were received, out of which 1,728 passed medical and physical fitness screenings.
